About Mark My Presenter
Picking between five parallel sessions shouldn't depend on whose title sounds best.
At most conferences several tracks run at the same time, and all you know about each session is a title and a short abstract. Some of the best talks have dull titles, and some exciting titles hide a sales pitch.
Mark My Presenter adds the missing piece: how audiences rated each presenter at their earlier talks. Open your conference, look at a time slot, and the parallel sessions are shown side by side with each presenter's audience score. After the talk, rate it in under a minute.
The idea comes from sites like markmyprofessor.com and RateMyProfessors, where students rate lecturers, adapted to conference talks: the criteria are about the talk, the rating opens when the session starts, and presenters can reply.
Good for presenters too
Most speakers never get honest, structured feedback. Here they can see their scores per criterion and every comment, across all their talks, and reply in public. See the page for presenters.
Good for organizers
Organizers can see how a speaker performed elsewhere before inviting them, and collect feedback for their own event with a QR code per session. See the page for organizers.
